PCs piss off yoga instructor

This new Mac ad shows how PCs can frustrate even the most centered yoga instructor. Tell me what you think. Visit www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ko3kg7FpKa0.

As a long time Mac user, with years of using the PC as well, but new to yoga, I am put off by the ad. I've spent 20 years using and teaching how to use both systems and many programs. I am not a fan of most advertising re Mac, PC, whatever.

It's insulting, not just to computer users, but obviously to the Yoga community. Anyone who has done any yoga or lived a bit, is not going to get that upset over a computer. And the solution is easy: if you don't like the computer, get another one. Believe me, I have my frustrations with my Mac and many previous Macs.

Bottom line: most ads are stupid and insulting. Just move on. Life is too short to actually listen to ads. They aren't talking to you anyway, because you pay attention and know better.

I think that it's cute and funny, and if it's getting you that uptight...maybe you should up your yoga practice...or try Pilates. :)

I think the ad is humorous. The actress playing the yoga instructor is known for her zany humor and I think she fits perfectly into this role. I also do not think it should be taken too seriously. Will it make me buy a mac? I don't think so.

I concur with Lila. The ad is funny and fun. Where is your sense of humour Jenny? If we can't laugh at ourselves we are missing the true spirit of yoga!

Namaste

Like all the other Mac vs PC commercials, it's funny. If you're that pissed over the ad, I would hate to see your response to Volkswagen and their ad for the Eos that involved yoga. Lighten up, it's only a commercial...

I love it! It's funny! You can get mad even at yoga, pc's, mac's... It's just a commercial and it's hilarious!

As I said in my comment about The Love Guru (too funny!!!) we need to lighten up. Are you serious? An insult to the yoga community? Get real. You're not having enough fun! Or maybe not getting enough sleep as I see you posted at nearly 4am.
I am no fan of advertising, trust me, but some of those folks come up with some amazingly creative stuff!! At least we still have imagination and humor left in the world.
