Zombie yogis
If you ever wished you could do Downward Dog with a decomposing body, you're not alone. According to the New York Times, this combination is a fantasy for some yogis. About 75 people showed up for an open casting call for the filming of a yoga zombie video. "The responses were like: 'I love yoga and I love zombie movies. I've been waiting for this!' It was the chocolate and the peanut butter thing for all these people," says director Jason Wishnow. Who knew? Anyone into zombie movies out there?

YES! I do! I find the claustrophobia of survival horror cathartic, and I love that zombies are always a thinly veiled critique of our society. Boy, would I have shown up for this casting call - sadly, I have the zombie regalia ready to go. I have worn tee shirts with zombie stuff on them to yoga classes, actually - but I turn them inside out because I realize they might annoy or distract other participants.

SHAUN OF THE DEAD...great zombie humor... i compare the transition from dwndog to slowly standing up,"one vertabrea at a time" to Zombie awakening.
