If the spurious yoga movement knew what was honesty, they would at least say "Looking for Lust in Yoga class." How bad can it get? This is precisely why Hatha Yoga was suppose to be "The Secret Yoga," because those infatuated with their physical bodies, would pervert these sacred Hindu devotional postures into something crass.

At our studio we have a Friday evening class followed by dinner,drinks, and a healthy exchange of like minds and friendship. As one of the few males in this circle I control my lust and treat my fellow yogis as equals. Yoga class should be a safe place where a person can openly enjoy the freedom of motion that the asanas provide. No one should have to be concerned that they are being "checked out" while they are in down dog. We are fortunate to share energy and an intimacy during practice, what we share after practice is of our own free will and not a reason to make yoga a "secret".
