Reader Feedback: Yoga Conference Tips

From Abbe in Missouri ---

Thanks for sharing tips for people attending conferences. I attended the 2005 San Francisco conference in January and the one thing I would recommend to everyone is to bring along some nutritious and easily eaten foods with you.

It is very difficult to get in a full day of classes and figure out when to eat so you’re not doing asana with a full belly. The next time I go to conference I will bring along some apples, peanut or almond butter, crackers and such. The food offerings were great in SF and the Ferry Building is right there but it takes a while to negotiate what to eat and then the purchase. So, pack a little bit of the food you love most so you can grab a quick bite for breakfast or between classes.

Namaste,

Abbe Ehlers
