Martin Kupferman, Co-Executive Producer
Martin Kupferman joined Yoga Journal in August 2002, where he heads up the company's New Media Department which includes web, video and other non magazine initiatives. In 2005, Mr. Kupferman was named by Folio Magazine as one of its "Folio 40: Industry Innovators with Impact (a group which also includes Anne Moore (Time Inc.), David Remnick (The New Yorker) and Maria Rodale (Rodale Press)).
Prior to joining the company, he was the CEO of Pasqua Coffee, a sixty store national coffee retailer which he co-founded in 1985 and sold to Starbucks in 1999. He began his business career as a management consultant with Coopers & Lybrand. Kupferman is the author of "Slowth: The Changing Economy and How You Can Cope Successfully," published by John Wiley & Sons. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.
Yoga and Meditation have been a central part of his life for over thirty years.
